‘Post Expiration Date Blues’

♪Oh my, them’s doodles, so many to select

The first one I chose, ended up as a reject

It wouldn’t fit with Two, Three and Four

So I let myself peruse to select even more ♪

♪As I flip the pages of this finished sketchbook

My eyes get weary as I continue to look

I finally decide I have more than enough

Now my task is a narrative and to arrange this stuff ♪

Checking the month, day, and year should be duly noted

Oh Them’s Post Expiration Date Blues

Aptly suggest that the can might be bloated ♫
