With the primary design at the center as geometric forms I wanted to balance this painting with surrounding softer forms and colors. Oil on Board

Wow! Parts of your painting seem 3-D, like trapunto, a form of padded embroidery used on quilts. Great work, Craig!
Thanks Rita, yes, you’re correct, the way I’m applying the lights and dark’s are giving me a quilted effect on several of these most recent works.
