For the Art Show – 1 of 9

Nine art images will be displayed for the @highlandtown_gallery August First Friday (Aug 5) Pop-up art show. Within the current YouTube video (67) two of the nine were shown as I talked about the display easels.
This is one: ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’, ©Craig L Haupt, color pencil/pen & ink/watercolor.

  1. This is way cool, Craig. Another pop up show in August. Looking forward to it. I thought of you today as we toured Hill Top, Beatrix Potter’s home in the Lake District. She couldn’t get someone to publish her first book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, so she self-published it herself. Hmmm, someone else we know published their first book, who might that be? Yes, George Cooper. Oh, and you! You really ought to try to get over to England to visit Eric and your family and see some of this country. London was fun, but the country is gorgeous. (Do not try to drive here. More about that when we get home! ) We have been seeing the most interesting, often quaint, and wonderful things. I’m a rock hound and the stone walls here, which are literally everywhere are amazing, as well as so much else of course. Everything’s made of stone, slate, and some timber of course, but stone is the predominant building material. Be well, Deborah

    • Thanks Deborah! Wonderful to hear you both are having a grand time. I have the Beatrix Potter movie with Renee Zellweger and love to watch it every couple of years. Can’t wait to hear about your adventures!! Safe journeys during the rest of the trip and your return!
