How to Design an Artbook, Ep 14

Episode 14: Not just new computer but switched from the Hitfilm Express Editing App. to the DaVinci Resolve 17 editing app. Similar but with upgraded features and new bells and whistles still quite a learning curve. This episode features two more paintings of the 48 primary paintings, #3 & #4, included in the in-progress design of my second ArtStory book. The goal is to play catch-up as to align the Video Episodes postings of the 48 paintings to match my social media platform (FaceBook, Blog, etc.) postings.

Also included in this Episode is another ’fictitious Letter’. A fictitious letter from a fictitious person with a fictitious question. The introduction of the ‘fictitious Letter’ aspect will also give me a chance to integrate my artistic history/autobiography into the episodes. The ‘Fictitious Letters’ chronicle my history of becoming an artist. Ep. 13’s Fictitious Letter highlighted my beginnings at age 7. Ep. 14 Highlights age 8 to 13.

Overall view of the “24 Album Cover” book Episode series project is Highlighting the artistic design, writing stories, creating art images, computer applications including InDesign & Photoshop, layout for conversion to PDF, and a crowdfunding campaign to convert the self-published ArtStory project to printed form. The ArtStory book will feature 48 full color images, 77 supporting images, and 24 short story/vignettes within a 9.5 x 9.5, 100 plus page self-published book.
