For all the different “Friends/Followers” both here in America and around the world, to my FaceBook, Blog, Linkedin, Google+ Art Posts it is difficult to quite know which holiday season, if any, that you adhere to.
For my part and tradition I would like to say Merry Christmas, have a wonderful Holiday season, and a very Happy New Year.

Project: 12 + 12, 12 x 12’s
Title-“Boots”, second sequenced post
Posted is the 12” x 12” pencil worksheet to be used for the “Boots” painting.
As each of the 24 subjects are selected, the next step is creating a full size 12” x 12” worksheet. As with all my paintings I try to keep the integrity of the initial ’Doodle’ as I develop the finished project.
Of the several worksheets in progress, there are a few that have some color added. This is one of the few.
This image, “Boots” is one of the first ‘12’ (doodles etc.) that were of my selections. Please see/scroll back to last weeks post to see a synopsis of the 12 + 12, 12 x 12’s project and the initial ‘doodle’.
The project will be posted in the following sequence:
1st Monday-the sketch/doodle or related source from whence the current painting has originated.
The second Monday-the 12”x12” pencil worksheet showing the intended painting.
The third Monday-a progress post of the painting.
The fourth Monday-the finished painting.
Then repeat.
